| In 1966 Bob Lind helped launch and define folk rock, writing and singing the groundbreaking megahit “Elusive Butterfly.” It began an illustrious career as a songwriter that continues as strong as ever today, with brand new music and a blockbuster book! It seems the world can't get enough of this music master, so besides his own performances, Bob Lind's songs have been recorded by over 200 artists, including Cher, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton, The Kingston Trio, Dolly Parton, The Four Tops, Nancy Sinatra, Richie Havens, Johnny Mathis, Glen Campbell. and a whole lot more. But nothing equals the experience of watching this dynamic performer deliver his own songs. Bob continues to generate accolades for his singing. “Bob held the (mostly young) audience rapt through a lengthy set," said Ian Marshall, promoter, describing a recent performance in Los Angeles. "I saw several celebrities amongst the crowd, namely Meg White of The White Stripes . . . for weeks afterward people were thanking me for putting on the gig, telling me how great a time they had."
